WELCOME TO THE
NEUROIMAGING & BEHAVIOR LAB
Dr. Jason Longhurst leads the Neuroimaging and Behavior Lab, which studies the interaction between gait, postural control, and cognition, particularly in the context of Parkinson’s disease. The Neuroimaging and Behavior Lab uses a range of techniques to study these interactions, including measuring cortical activation during movement and conducting biomechanical assessments. This work has led to several key areas of research focus, including:
-
Fear of falling and activity restriction
-
Community engagement and participation
-
Early identification of disease and syndromes
